what are these bumps?? there are about three. all in that spot

First, don't freak out. It could be a good many things, it could be irritated skin folicles like I saw others mention, and in that case, it could be caused by shaving. Irritated skin folicles often occur around the bikini area. Little bumps in a cluster around that area could also be genital warts. And yes, even on your upper thigh. The only way to find out is to go to your doctor. Don't worry about feeling uneasy, just remember that they have seen everything and nothing phases them. They are there to help you! I would advise you to go soon though, if it is in fact warts, you want to get it taken care of quickly so they don't spread. It stays in your body though if that's what you have (HPV - Human papiloma virus).... In any event, its no use worrying over it when you don't know what it is. Only a doctor will be able to properly diagnose you.

If you are wearing synthetic underwear (rayon, nylon, etc.) you could well have a simple case of heat rash. I recommend cotton in the heat of the summer.
No need to head to a doctor until you give it about 10 days to clear up.

chiggers. little flea like bugs that bite you 2 or 3 times before settling into the skin. just put something like jelly or mayonayse on top to cut off the oxegen supply and leave it on for about an hour. then take a shower.

is there puss? redness? heat? pain? infected hair folllicles.. Use triple anti biotic ointment 2-3 applications/dday till clear.. clean very well, change undies- or wear none a few days. change razor or wax technique, use mdicated shave gel.

if you just shaved there it could be razor burn, otherwise maybe your pants or elastic in your underwear is rubbing on your leg causing maybe an infected hair?
