I love both, and any licorice that is not black is not real licorice, some other candy but not licorice. Salted licorice is really good too!

I like root beer, not every day or anything, but one every once in awhile is okay. Black licorice is horrible to me, I almost puke just from smelling it. Most of my family likes black licorice, but to me it's just horrible, it tastes like Nyquil, and I can't take that either, I've tried and I just can't get it down.

I love root beer, but can't stand black licorice for some reason. It just hits those parts of my tongue that say "no way".

Not all people dislike it. However, for me it's a strong flavor and it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Yuck!
