They are called lawyers or attorneys. The exception is if you are referring to animals that are lawyers. Those are called animals. Hope you thought that was as funny as I did.

Their titles don't change, but you have to classify what sort of cases they handle.

It depends on what you need one for, as to what kind of lawyer you will need.
