Im an experienced rider, and have been riding for 4 years, and I weigh 120lbs and still trying to drop.

any race track where betting is taken you have to be licensed in order to ride
You have to make weight and convince trainers you can get their horse closer to the wire faster than other jockeys aiming for the same horse.

Not sure on your closest track.
But you have to have a license to be a jockey and a card to get onto the back side.
Many jockeys start out working at the track as they grow up. They are grooms or exercise riders and work their wy to and become an apperntice and then a jockey.
There are also a few schools where you can learn to become a jockey.

The closest horseracing to rocky ford is up in Denver. There is a dog track in Pueblo, but alas, no riders. Araphoe Park in Aurora is the closest horse track.

You have to have a licence.

My friend who is a jocky weighs 122lbs.,
and he is pretty tall.

Though the weight that you have to be is considered on how much the horse your riding weighs.(im 90% sure on that)
