I was sleeping with my head down on the desk when this girl who was sitting on the edge of the desk started playing with my hair.

But the thing is she never talked to me before, and she's pretty popular and I'll say it.... way out of my league....

I didn't want her to stop, so I just kept still, and I didn't say anything, and she just kept right along playing with my hair, and then the bell rang, and I sat up and just smiled awkwardly at her, and she might have smiled back, I'm not really sure. Mostly she just walked away like nothing happened.

I was weirded out, but she's really hot. Was she just f**king with me?
What's my next move if there is one? I mean, we've gone to the same middle school and highschool now for like 4 years, but we never talked-TALKED before. Was she flirting?

Re: snazzy_me

I don't think it was a prank, because I'm not a weirdo, and if it was a dare, I think they would choose the weirdest kid in class to prank. I'm just mostly a loner in this school, cuz all my friends go to another school, while in this school, everyone is in their Asian clique, White clique, etc.

So I think the 2 possibilities are: 1.she likes me, or 2. she's just the type of girl that goes around doing this type of ish to random guys.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
Just remember, take each moment like it will be the last. This I feel will be a good start for you in knowing. Good Luck!!!!!!!

she probably does that sort of thing to a lot of guys if shes that popular. so lay it off man. trust me i c this happening all the time. im going to 8th grade, and at camp. this 10th grader put his arm around me and tried to grind with me. -_- but it was nothing cuz he does it to a bunch of ppl. so dont think much of it

hate to break it to ya angel, but it might've been a prank from one of her "popular-ish" friends. but DON'T make a move on her>>yet. see if she does stuff like that AGAIN, or see if you catch her staring at you/or smiling--not laughing(she could be laughing at you). don't get your hopes up buddy.
