I think the people in the workplace should have been informed, as there is some chance they caught it and brought it home. You want to be applying that nix before lice gets on hats, shirts, etc.

Everyone should know about this. you CANNOT get rid of lice without treatment and it is pretty easy to transmit, and that also means thoughrogh house cleaning as well. I work in a day care and when one kid has it others have it. It is not something they should be ashamed of, lice actually like cleaner hair then dirtier. Everyone needs to be checked, also for a few days, I would reccomend doing a mayonaise wash in your hair, lice will steer clear of it more.

While it's embarrassing for the person, lice is easily spread and it hops on clean hair as well as dirty so let everyone know so they can get some lice shampoo and use it as a preventative measure. You don't even have to tell everyone who had the lice, just let them know.

Well since you shouldn't be getting that close, no. And lice aren't a bad thing they are actually found in really clean hair, not dirty hair like everyone thinks.

The chances of getting lice from someone is small unless you sleep in their bed, use their combs or brushes, wear their hat, ect.
Its not like a virus, a bug has to get on your head.Leave it alone.

If you're their friend, yeah. I guess it could be considered medical - lice infestations DO happen - it's not impossible.

yeah, it's not a hygiene thing so it's ok for the worker to tell the rest........so, if you all start itching on your head you'll know what it is
