My first impression is that it is, but i would need to know more information about your operation. such as, what you do with the milk and whether or not the cats get attention from you. If you treat them like dairy cows, and just put them outside or in a pen until you milk them, then that is cruel to the cats. If you give them personal attention and use the milk for something like...the kittens who have lost their mother, and the situation is healthy, then i think it may be alright. I would need to know all angles before i decide for sure. Personally, i would never put my cat into that type of situation though.

first of all.........cats only produce milk when they have kittens, so unless your cats are constantly reproducing, i dont think its possible to get milk from them.......
