I'm so sick of people asking these annoying questions about the LORD, JESUS, and the HOLY SPIRIT. If you guys are so disinterested in Christian beliefs why are you so bent upon discrediting what I believe? Are you guys some how searching for truth but are afraid to admit so? Why do you just ask GOD all the questions you have? Why are you asking me? SO that you can respond with some mis-educated rebuttal? Oh....wait.... I forgot you dont believe there is a God so why do you care so much about the bible? It's one thing If someone is curious about the Lord and a little unsure.... I would be glad to share with you what the Lord has revealed to me but for those of you whose mission is to antagonize us christians, give us a break and ask the Lord your questions.... He will be so happy to explain to you all the questions and uncertainties which you may have. Please open your heart and ask him!

They'll keep asking as long as there is someone out there who will take the bait.

Sad people with little lives.

Spare us with the bleeding heart routine. Would you like it if another religion constantly tried to cram their beliefs down your throat?

If you want to believe in a bunch of myths (without proof), that is your business. Just because something is written in a book does not mean it is true.

Since you are on such good terms with the Lord, maybe you could ask him to intervene and stop all of these stupid wars. I mean, if Jesus can turn water into wine (and wasn't that REALLY important?), then maybe you can convince God to do something constructive.

Be sure to come back and let us know how you make out with your prayers.

Dear Coming of age,

For all the unserious questions out there, there are sincere askers who have a right to have their questions answered. Our job is to be faithful with the things God has called us to and He has called us to share about Him, and also to show it in our actions and attitudes.

Colossians 4:5-6: Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

An open forum where people ask questions about God (serious or not) is a great opportunity. How you answer is sometimes more important than what you answer.

To just ask someone who doesn't know God or has misconceptions about God to just ask God is irresponsible. It's like asking a kid to read a book on how to drive but not explain or show him how to.

God uses people. Think of how you came to know the Lord did you just ask him- or did people have to show you?

This is your chance to show people how good God is in your speech, conduct, and your abundance of patience...

Paul says we are to rebuke gently, as if we were dealing with a family member. So here goes. Christians have a mandate from Christ - reach out to the masses and spread the Gospel. At the same time, we are to love others. That's a commandment that Jesus gave us, and He called it equal to the 1st Commandment.

So I view this forum as a ministry opportunity that affords me an audience I would be unable to reach without the breadth & depth of the Internet. And criticizing others is not spreading the Gospel or loving. We are to realize that most are lost. Lost sheep, Jesus call them. And lost sheep mill around and make a lot of noise trying to figure out what to do next. But they don't realize they are. It's our job to reach out to them and love them. Many of them don't know what real love is, because they've never experienced the uplifting power of the Savior.

Please keep your anger in check and remember that every time they read something that criticizes them it cements the idea they already have of Christians - that we are hard, unkind, intolerant hypocrites.

May God bless you and nourish your spirit.

This question is so much more than you, and a few atheists. It's the whole problem with Yahoo Answers. People aren't very nice on here, they don't have to be. No one sees your face, no one knows who you are, so why not go nuts and be a dick right? So many people just don't have any respect for others. I'm an atheist, but I don't understand why so many of us feel the need to be jackasses, it doesn't help anything. But on the other side, a lot of christians post questions attacking atheists, so who's going to win? No one. Go look at other categories on here, the same problem exists, only with different subjects. The fact is, we all need to learn how to get along. I for one, have just about had enough of this yahoo thing, it makes me feel like the world is going crazy, but no one is holding a gun to my head so why don't I just leave. Want to come with me?

I have felt this way before, but you must remember that any time you ask a question on an open forum people will not always agree with you and if their beliefs are different than yours then as a Christian it is your job to lovingly discuss your beliefs and teach others about Christ. I am ashamed to say that I, myself, have answered in an angry and unchristian way to some of the people on this site. Jesus would not have done that, and he would not have lost his temper or responded in a harsh and unloving way to the people who taunt others on this site. If you want to be In a site where you are protected and surrounded by nothing but Christians then you have to go to a christian chat room or QA site. Remember that Jesus did not come to teach those who already knew and accepted him, he came to teach those who did not.

I am an educated person (atheist). I like to learn more about many things such as christian mythology. This is a site where people ask and answer questions, and this is the religion section, so you will have people asking about religions. You guys always love a chance to preach, so why be mad? I hope the person with the gun to your head forcing you to read those questions lets you go soon so you can stop crying about it. You guys mess with us spreading the Gospel, so stop being a hypocrite. I sometimes stop people from wasting their Sundays. If you want me to turn to god with my questions, call his house, and get me a session, and if he is omnipotent, I will be able to hear him. Why do Christians try to disprove evolution. Looks like you guys know it is true, and are seeking the Darwin enlightenment of knowledge. If we let you go, you come after us.

I am a christian ,though not a fundementlist. It is good to be zelous for God sister, but you need not be offended for Him. If while you talk with our freindly nonbelievers, someone is struck by the consistancy of your answers, he may be moved toward God, if only a little. perhaps thats what He meant by being salt. and you are correct that the nation was founded by christians, but the puritans who hanged there own members for suspected witchcraft are not good role models in a pluralistic society

I browse and answer not necessarily for the benefit of the ignoramus who is asking the question, but rather primarily for the benefit of someone reading the question who may be curious about the truth. If I didn't answer it, then ignorance would run rampant.

Oh, and perhaps to be less accusatory in your questions - it'll just create a stumbling block for people who compare your behaviour to that of their expectation (i.e., Wow, whe wasn't very nice and accepting of others).

Thanks for sharing with us what GOD says but unlike you we can read the bible. We don't need some twisted minded dance interpretation.

45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. “

GOD creates evil him self period.
If any1 wants to follow god they have to belive god and christians who twist the truth. Only powerfull god can create evil.
Why would any1 undermind or underpower the all mighty.
Anyway i am here to get educated on circular logic. I need Christian answers so i can complete my website about the truth and making money.

Ask a question; don't give us **** about how upset you are. This isn't a place to express your "feelings". Religious or not, you're just like all the other people on here who think they have something important to say. Grow up.
