Karma has to do with the balance of the universe... the ying and the yang.

It's not just "what goes around, comes around" That is only part of it. It's about keeping things in the universe, balanced. For every good deed somewhere, there is an equal bad deed going on elsewhere. Good Karma means that you are doing good deeds so good things will happen to you (mostly). Bad Karma means you are negatively affecting the world and thus, will be negatively affected eventually for it.

It's not something you really can explain...but rather experience and believe in

Hindus and Bhuddists believe that every action has an effect and there is a cause for everything. This is called the law of Karma. It is believed that after someone dies, their soul lives on and starts a new life in another body - not necessarily a human one. This is known as reincarnation. In practice this means that, depending on how you have behaved in the previous life (generating good or bad Karma), you will be reborn into a better or worse life. The main aim for all Hindus and Bhuddists is to break out of this cycle of birth and death.

The universe's reaction to your everyday actions. You do good, then you recieve a good reaction. You do bad, you get a bad reaction. Karma isn't something that may happen right away however. It could store up in some nasty interest that will affect your future. How it affects your future is totally up to you.

karma refers to a system of belief where doing what you do in this life affects what is done to you in this life and the next. Bad karma is the universe dumpin on you and good karma is the universe cheering you on and givin you the top taco award and a vacation to OAHU!!!

i would say karma is kind of a superstition...but a self fulfilling one. for example, if someone was extremely selfish and jealous and mean to people, eventually that person will probably meet someone who is worse and will Do something about it. on the other hand, if someone is nice and pure and kind to everyone, eventually someone will be touched in a good way to do something nice for them... it's like that coke commercial.. u pick up someone's keys, and then they go and open the door for someone else, and that person carries someone's groceries, etc etc. if u make people positive and happy, there is so much opportunity in the world! if u make people negative and sad, there is so much dreariness in the world....take ur pick!

At it's simplest, it's the basics of cause and effect. Philosophically, it's reaping what you sow, getting what you've got coming to you, or being paid that which you are owed...in whatever way that payment manifests itself. If you exude good energy, good energy cycles back to you. Bad energy likewise returns when that's what you give off. The paths those energies take can be complicated and unpredictable, but their inevitability is eternally simple.

What you do - returns to you. Especially car-karma. If you let someone in, someone else will let you in.

"What goes around, comes around."
In other words, if you do good things for people, you will find good things being done for you. If you do bad things, bad things will be done to you.

It doesn't work (for me) 100% of the time, but it makes me feel better doing good things anyway, especially things that are anonymous.
