There's missing information. How long do you intend to do this for? How much do you weigh already? (A heavier person would lose more than a slim person.) And at what speed will you walk at 1/2 mile/hour or 3 miles per hour? (Speed can double the rate.)

Depends. Everyone is different. If you really want to lose weight, I suggest joining a program like weight watchers that helps you watch what you eat, as well as encourages you to exercise.

Excersise isn't the only factor diet is also. if you excersise but eat at McDonalds twice a day you will never lose any weight. eat right and excersise and you can lose weight and tone your body. good luck
