Will there ever be a day when CNN or Fox news network doesn't have anything to talk about and one day you can sit in your back yard with your mind at peace knowing theres nothing big going on in the world?

There HAVE been something like 3 minutes of world peace since world war two. That's pretty disgusting when you think about it - three minutes when people aren't trying to kill each other because politicians can't talk about things. It is very unlikely that world peace will ever happen for a long period of time, unless humanity is reduced to a few thousand people - war is in our nature.

No, because we were all made with a sinful nature. There will never be perfect peace, but after the rapture, there will be 7 years of peace between the nations of thw world.

I don't think soo....because of human nature. To create a Utopian society means to get rid of gut reactions and personal thoughts and feelings. There will always be conflict until we as people change!
