You're right on target! and they will not get better in the forseeable future. The irony being that Iraq and Iran fought a war that was a stalemate under Sadam,that kept the Iranians in check (large shi-ite muslim populations in both countries). We come along and put the Shites in power in IRaq and accomplished what Iran could not do on its own and this no doubt has the leader of Iran sitting back smacking his lips in gratitude for what we've done. So now it would be just a matter of getting us out of Iraq for the influence and the power of IRan to overwhelm the area - I just cant imagine what our rationale was to invade Iraq?
And the only way now to prevent the above from happening is an indefinite American prescence in Iraq that now has to be forever.

Bad is an understatement. We've destroyed Iraq. Even if we turned around and left right now, the damage would only continue, as the country is already fighting a civil war.
I have to say, maybe we should think about putting Saddam back in power. He's the only person who's been able to keep a grip on it, and he didn't kill anywhere nearly as many Iraqis as we have.

dude things will be bad until the Iraq government can get back on their feet and nor should are government back down until it does. all the solders I've talked too about this think the same but its getting better. you cant always trust the media because they only bring info back that will make them money which is usually the bad things are or how many marines died one day or another. but that's my opinion u can make your own but I'm tell in ya talk to a real solder that's been over their

WERE HAVE YOU BEEN! THINGS IN IRAQ AS WELL AS THE REST OF THE MIDDLE EAST, HAVE BEEN BAD FOR THE PAST 5000 YEARS! THE ONLY REASON WE HEAR MORE ABOUT IT NOW AND SEE DAILY FOOTAGE ABOUT IT ON THE NEWS IS BECAUSE THE USA IS THERE!
