'FavoredbyU', flesh & blood has not revealed this to you!
Godly fear is respect.
We do not fear God as in being afraid of smething we do not understand.
We RESPECT God for we know He is the All-Powerful Creator.
He is the source of all Life.
And He is also a God of wrath...to those who are disobedient.
But His children do not disobey Him.

I think you can. I love my dad and mom, but I also have some sort of fear for them. Not a fear that I will be beat, or unloved, or hurt. I don't think it is always so bad to have fear for authorative figures. It's a good thing that most people have some sort of fear of authority, or the world would be even more chaotic and people would really do what they wanted regardless of consequences.

I'll take a double helping of Love, please, and hold the fear.
My Father says that perfect love casts out fear.
He knows alot more about what He is talking about than some elevangelist with an expensive haircut and wardrobe, driving a big car and living in a mansion...even if He does have bare and bleeding feet, and walked among men with no place to lay His head!

Of course. As with God, I love Him with all my heart, but at the same time I have a fear of Him, in the sense that I respect Him. I'm not trembling in a corner, I have a VERY high sense of respect for my Creator and Savior! God bless!

absolutely. You love them and fear displeasing them.

and what the heck is that guy who called me out talking about? Yes, this is under Religion and Spirituality, but the question was generic. Thus the answer is generic. I could have been very well talking about my mother, who, if you knew her, you'd fear before you love her... If i answer your question, fine, but I wasnt' talking to you.
