Christian girls can wear whatever they choose to where. You are probably referring to some specific denomination, like Pentecostals, who have specific guidelines on how females should dress.

There are certain verse and regulations in the bible that some take father then others and even forget to tak into context of the culture, This is an example of such a thing.

However the bible does warn us that if some Christians feel something is wrong that you don't feel is wrong, you should respect their opinion and try not openly do that thing in their presence.

If you are an adult I would suggest looking for a different a church, if you are a Minor and you are going to your parents church, and they want you to follow those rules do so and try not to resent it but you don't have lie, you can share the fact you don't agree with their beliefs but will comply because they are your parents.

I'd write more about specific verse and the proper interpretation but I'm tiered, If you want to e-mail me through my Y!Answered profile I'll e-mail you that information latter.

Its depends on what church and religion that they go to. Not all Christians girls wear pants and open toe shoes. Apostolic and Pentecostals churches teach women to dress in moderation because I Peter chapter 3 but the bible does not speak of this for as how to dress or even about what shoes to wear. Their pastor taught them this and their parents told them to dress this way as in a way to please God. God does NOT look at our appearances for as dress and shoes but looks at the every heart. This is false teachings and should be abolished!

The baptist church that I attended when I was young didn't allow pants but they have changed maybe yours will change soon too thru pray and asking your parents to talk to the church members.

Oh,no.What brand of Christianity do you subscribe to?I was "Holiness" for a while, and had to wear long sleeves and dresses,no make-up,jewelry,t.v.,dancing,cards...pretty much anything that made life fun.Don't get me wrong,we had our good times, sometimes, but if you have to be SO restricted, you eventually freak out and end up like me.I don't see how those things can be wrong when they have nothing whatsoever to do with God.It's not like toes are evil, and pants keep more covered, even in a big wind.I'm glad I'm out of all that, now.

In the bible it say in
Deuteronomy 22:5
5) The woman SHALL NOT wear that which pertaineth unto man, neither shall a man put on a womans garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.

2 Corinthians 5:3
3) If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

When a woman wears jeans, it is true that her flesh is covered, but when you can see every curve because of the tightness of them. Then you are considered naked. Then you get mad when some old man or employee sexually harrasses you. Your behind and breast is wide open for the whole world to see, but you do not understand that it is shamefull for you to be dress that way. You open the door for lust and any other weapon that satin can use to lead you to hell.
Holiness is the true religion, and unless you learn, except, and obey holiness; you will be hellbound. In the book of Genesis the serpent tells Eve; for ye shall not surely die, and he's telling you women the same thing today right in your church. Follow holiness in your bible. I pray for you. Amen

Here is a question for all answerers. Do you want to go to hell? or do you want to go home? Your choice.
It does not depend on your religion. It is what God commanded.
Question: are you going to follow GOD? or are you going to follow man? your choice again, heaven or hell
If the clothes you wear makes you appear to be naked then naked you are, and it is an abomination to the Lord. I pray for you. Amen

Are you attending a pentecostal church? They do not want girls to wear skirts, but I've never heard anything about open toe shoes. Just dress modestly, that's all you have to worry about.

Pants are considered as a mans clothing.

Deuteronomy 22:5 Women that wear men’s clothing are an “abomination unto the Lord.”

they can, it the bible men wore what we can say dresses. neither are pants only masculine they are for both men and women. If its such a big deal, ask God what you should do. As a Christian you if you still go to that church you should not wear pants. because you wouldn't want to do anything that could cause a little one to stumble or to sin.

Oh man!! and here I sit with my flip flops and my capri's!!! WAIT! Where does it say I can't??? God's word tells me not to dress like a guy - and believe me, what I am wearing is ALL girl!

EXTRA for the brother who emailed me
When Deut was written, men were wearing robes - not pants - so unless you are wearing robes, take the plank out of your eye.

For the young man who hasn't seen men wear capri's - honey, I haven't either!

For me, its not a matter of being able to or not. Jesus wants our lives to be sanctified, or separate from the world. We should not give into the world's temptaions in any type of clothing. But its our choice and I will stick to living a pure and sanctified life.
