WOW congradulations

Most budgies usually live 3-6 years because of poor nutrition or lack of social interaction either with other birds, or humans

keep up what your doing and your budgie could live another 5-10 years.

The owrld record for longest lived budgie is 29 years and their is a report of a woman in Australia with a 27 year old budgie.

I would love to hear more about your budgie

Budgies lives were extended by the makers of the bird food Trill... It was discovered that whatever was in the food other than seeds led to Budgies living a long a full life often doubling their lives from 7 to 14 years...

I think your Budgie probably has plenty more "tweet" in him yet......

My trusty copy of 'birds for dummies' has informed me that the average life span is 8years, but with excellent care they can live into their teens, and sometimes even twenty!

Great Job caring for your feathered friend!
