actually there is a grain of truth in this statement, even if its not a question. There is historical evidence that some of the old testement patriarchs, like abraham, were polytheists before encountering the One god. also some of the dead sea scrolls refer to shikina (now translated the glory of god) as if "she" was a person- the partner and or wife of yaweh. This theology was discarded after the bablonian captivity

funny if that really did happen then you would think that some of the Israelites would retain that tradition and keep it at least until it was recorded.
yet we do not have any evidence of such a thing...
