Don't worry, JW's are in error over this thinking. The 144,000 represent Jewish men who, in the tribulation period, will witness to those left on earth. The bible states this number of men are from the "twelve tribes of Israel".

JW's sort of shot themselves in the foot with this one, especially when their numbers, amazingly enough...exceeded 144,000.

Why try what?

Jesus said; 'Happy are the meek, for they will inherit the earth,' Matthew 5:5

Psalm 37:29 The righteous will possess the EARTH and they will reside forever upon IT.

2Peter 3:13 But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting, and in these righteousness is to dwell.

Rev.21:3,4 ...Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear form their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

Isaiah 33:24 And no resident will say, "I am sick." The people that are dwelling in the land wil be those pardoned for their error.

Rev.22:2 The leaves of the trees were for the curing of the nations. 3) And no more will there be any curse.

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek YHWH, all you meek ones of the earth, who have practiced his own judicial decisions, Seek righteousness, seek meekness. Probably you will be concealed in the day of YHWH's anger. (Armageddon/end of world/system) Rev. 19:19-21.

Rev. 5:10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.

These are some of the scriptures which refer to the time when the "Kingdom of God" will rule over the earth, and the earth will be transformed into the Paradise that Adam and Eve lost.

A Paradise earth, and peace and everyone loving God and their neighbor is an awesome hope. Best wishes...

They are misinformed. The 144,000 in the Book of Revelation clearly states that they are JEWS, not Jehovah's Witnesses.

Because, the Jehovah"s Witnesses are wrong.

I guess the real question is, 'why try to be a Jehovah's Witness?'

in the bible (revelations) its say that there will be a new earth and a new heaven. 144000 will be with Christ in the new heaven, and every one else who is a child of God will be in the new earth. So dont sweat there are Billions who will make it in the Kingdom of God
