Nine weeks old is a bit too young to be giving puppies peanut butter. Peanut Butter is very thick and sticky and they might choke on it. It would be best, when your puppies are a bit older and are teething to get chew toys instead. I don't recommend giving puppies raw hides though. But nylabones are the best for chewing. Stay away from the peanut butter idea for awhile. Try other alternatives first.
Good luck! May you and your puppy become good friends and companions for years to come!

Don't worry, it's fine. Just don't give him very much.
I wouldn't give it more than a teaspoon a day until it gets bigger.
I have a 6 month old puppy that gets about a tablespoon of peanut butter a day. She loves it, it's a great treat.

Yes perfectly and completely safe. Dogs love Peanut Butter.
Just don't go overboard. A small amount is plenty. Small dogs can get upset stomachs and the runs very easily.

Peanut butter is ok - but fattening. Kong recently came out with a new product called Kong Stuffin's. It comes in PB flavor, but it's less sticky and less fattenting. Stuff it into a Kong, then freeze it. The freezing will also help your pooch through the painful teething process.

dogs really shouldn't eat peanut butter. They have a hard time with it, since it is fatty and is not naturally eaten by dogs.
same for cheese (just in case this is for putting a pill in) and other nuts. Macadamias are POISON to dogs.
i work with animals, and often dogs get diahria and/or vomit from peanuts/peanut butter
Stuff a KONG with cookies/ kibble. make sure it is the right size...lots of dogs eat their kongs and need to be operated on.

Peanut butter in small quantities is good to stuff into Kong toys to occupy a dog for quite a while. It shouldn't hurt him.

All the dogs I've met love peanut butter, and there's no problem with feeding it to a puppy,as long as you don't feed it too much.

hmmmmm..............good question,
Doesn't the kong give you instructions as far how old your puppy should be before giving the toy loaded with peanut butter?
I will watch for your answers. Since you are not sure, it is good that you ask instead of just doing something and it can harm your precious pup. :)

A small amount of peanut butter would not harm the puppy. To make it last longer, you can always put the kong in the freezer after you fill it. But if he gets to much it could make him sick.
