Don't worry Ashley. He probably thinks you were not there, since you take into beautiful consideration, talking to him. He knows that, and I could tell that by what you simply said about the situation. He may not call you right back, because he may think you're doing something. But he will definately call ya back, since he's a sweet enough guy to call you while he is away.

Not all guys would do that, you have a very nice man there. I think I understand your situation with communication not being to constant for you, but keep faith and you know your fiancee. He treasures you, doesn't he? As you treasure talking to him. So stay coolheaded and be ready for his next call.

You and your fiancee seem like nice people, Ashley.

Get used to missing calls even though you would rather not. Unless you plan on staying home every minute he's away. Which is not real healthy. He might get to call again but he might not have time. Even though his training doesn't start until Friday they are still very busy with getting paper work and stuff done. They are being moved around alot. He will call again and quit beating yourself up. Just support him as much as possible when he does call. Also DO NOT send him a cell phone in basic training he can't have one. They will take it and he will be in deep doo doo. See if he tried calling some one else like his mom or dad. Try to keep in contact with them that way you will all feel better.Write him letters get his friends to write letters too. Here is a heads up though. When he gets a letter he has to do 20 push ups before they give it to him. So try to get people to give them to you so you can send them in the same envelope. When he gets to AIT it will be easier he can have a cell phone than, but he still can't talk when ever he wants too. If he gets shipped overseas that's when the really setting by the phone and the computer is going to be an all day event. Good luck and thank you both!

I can't see them allowing him to use the phone again. When you get to Basic Training (The Army doesn't have Boot Camp) you're allowed a couple minutes to call someone and let them know you've arrived. Then once or twice later in training depending on your Drill Sergeant.

In boot camp, using the phone is a priviledge, not a right. He may only get phone priviledges once or twice a week, and rest assured that he has a time limit on his calls - everyone else in his unit is waiting their turn.

Patience!!!

Buy him a cell phone and send it to him. He will be able to call you then. I know you love him but he is at boot camp in the states. Everything will be fine. He will get to call you again.

He may not be able to call you back. and once he actually begins training, he will be able to call even less.

one thing you absolutely MUST DO.. do NOT sit around by the phone waiting for him to call. It will make the time go even slower. do not put your life on hold while he is in training, and most assuradly don't do it once he deploys.

I reply first, and if the answering makes me feel or makes my day, then I'll megastar. I recognise...it is choosy of me, sorry. o.o But this fashion I become pointing my lovers and contacts to the *well stuff* you already know? ^__^ Or no less than I attempt to. But have a celeb besides only for being sufferer and knowledge. ^_^

You'll be fine. I think you know that too. I do not think that you feel badly about missing his call, but the fact that you are nervous about him being away in the Army. He will call you, but not right away. Just relax and take your mind off it for awhile.
