God answers all prayers. Maybe not the answer we want, but what we need. We should also ask for understanding and wisdom as well.

Yes! Every day that I wake up another prayer is answered from the night before. Every day I pray for some things, but they don't all arrive. There are some things that are in God's time and it scares us, but He has control enough of the situation to make it work!
God bless you, Chelle! Not only did He decide what was best for you, but He sent the Holy Spirit through you to give you peace and assurance that He heard your request!
I am excited for you, bless you!

Yes. Around Easter, I had a really bad dizzy spell and was taken to the E.R. A cat scan showed a blood clot in my cerebellum. I was admitted to the ICU. My family prayed, I prayed that God would take care of me. I was facing surgery. Four hrs later when I had an MRI, the clot was gone. God DOES answer prayer! PRAISE GOD!

Yes, I have lost track on how many have been answered. I feel that sense of relief everytime I attend service as well. It's the best feeling to know that HE'S right there with you. Keep up the praying.

Yes, I really like your question. So many people here seem to be so down on God and religion. I am a firm believer in prayer. Any problem I have, I just hand it over to God and I feel like an enormous weight has been lifted. Too bad so many people just won't do the same.

Always prayers are answered as you notice in your sense of relief. I could fill pages of answered prayers but the seemingly most dramatic is when I was hitchhiking in a blizzard at nite & the lite of the snow & moon lit the bold print of my late grandmothers new testement '"...look up..." were the words I read. The sparse traffic had me praying especially hard! The trucker who stopped for me only saw my reflective insignia on my hat because I was looking UP!

For me, I worry a lot. I lose things pretty often, and upon failing to find something I ask God for help. About 30% of the time I find it almost immediately; like 40% I find it later. Just don't rely on prayers too much. Remember, God cannot directly intervene with anything.

Yes. When I had my car broken into and my cell phone stolen, I was incredibly cheesed and upset. I had the cell phone records and one of the numbers called from my stolen phone was to a house three blocks away. I actually started considering doing things that were not only completely unethical and unproductive, but borderline illegal.
I said a prayer to Themis (Divine Justice) and Nemesis (Divine Retribution) to help the police in finding the perpetrators and administering justice as They saw fit. After letting it go to Them, I also let go of the anger and the wish to hunt the bastards down myself.
Against the odds, the police not only caught the person who stole my phone, but got a couple of their accomplices, too.

Ive had some serious prayers answered.... go check my 360 and read about some. Though sometimes I have gotten a "No" in answer to my prayers, none have ever been left unanswered. So far even the "No" answers have turned out ok.

Actually, a fat joint gives me an instant sense of relief. Praying to imaginary friends doesn't make much sense. Especially now that I'm an adult.
