Yes they are taking those jobs that college students would take. If you are here illegally your baby is illegal also. Lets build the fence, but with gates in it so the guest workers can come in properly. No more sneaking under the fence. In general mexicans do not take positions normally held by students. They do take janitors, dishwashers, cleaning, gardeners and construction positions. Most all the positions they take are the ones we do not want to work on because of the labor conditions or because of the low pay. The mexicans also are willing to work for less than minimum wage and we are not. Mexican girls do not take advantage of government services because they are absolutely afraid thet they are going to be reported back to Inmigration.
My impression is that they are very hard working individuals doing a lot of what we refuse to do.
