Ok-

So I live in apartments. We had this ice chest full of soda and water out side our front door for like 2 days. We should have broiught it in, but we were lazy...we needed it back in the car for tomorrow.
Anyways, i get home from work today, goto grab a soda and they are all gone. I call my BF, he didnt take them. One, or some of our neighbors did.
I want to put a sign on our empty ice chest telling them to fock themselves......but it has to be directed at everyone cause we dont know who did it.
I have lived here over 4 years and nothing has ever been taken off of our porch. And we like our neighbors.....its a focked situation

Yes we did leave it out side. And it was a lot... Like maybe 50 or more soda's so it is a big deal. It was really heavy, and i honestly thought it was safe outside.

I know its my fault.....but im still mad at the person who took it

No..
I am positive this was no mis understanding. These were clearly ours and by our door. I know its hard to picture how some one else porch is set up..

What i am finding amazing that most of you are so nieve into thinking that they thought i was being nice.
Who is that nice to buy 50 sodas for their neighbors.....and just leave them out...Im not.....you all live in la la land....who ever took them, did just that, they took them....wrongfully wether i left them out or not.

Its like having your car stolen...who's fault is it, the person who parked their car, or the person who broke the window, wired it, and stole it

I would go look in the neighbors' trashcans to see who has a bunch of empty soda cans there. When you find the offender, tape a note on the trash can lid (or dumpster lid) that says - "I
caught you -you dirty-drink stealing bastard! I know who you are, and I am watching you."

I won't bring your drinks back, but it will let them know that you know who they are.

I think I agree that this could be a simple misunderstanding. People may have thought it was a gesture of good will, especially since it was so hot. It isn't worth making yourself look bad by making a fuss over it. You said nothing else has never been stolen before, so I would just let this one go. Try to think about all the people who got a nice refreshing drink when they were hot. They probably all think you're the best neighbor they have now.

You want to tell everyone at your apartment to "fock themselves"
because your soda-that you left outside-is missing?

If it was a lot of soda; make a sign NICELY asking someone to bring it back. Apologize for the misunderstanding, saying that, although it was left out for several days, it wasn't extra and that you need it for your weekend trip.
Then go buy more soda.

Maybe they thought you left it out there for them. You seem to know them all so they probably thought you were being a great neighbor.

Let it go. Some of them may return the favor and bring something for you. If not, just be more careful in the future.

If you really need to say something, try have a nice day.

Well, I'm from LA and you're lucky the ice chest is still there! Don't trust humanity so much. Learn your lesson and lock your stuff away. Also, don't carry resentment against your neighbors because it could've been anyone - someone visiting for instance.

Chalk it up to experience and bring it in next time. People may have assumed you put it out there to be nice, especially if you're going through the same heat wave I am (we hit 102 degrees today, plus humidity.

Saying something will do nothing. Next time, if you must leave it out, put a note on it saying something like "please don't take."

Put a note on the cooler that says "In the future I will be happy to supply the ice but it's your turn to supply the beverages" . Or "I would have offered if you had just asked."

Put a note on it saying:

Don't waste your time. Some idiot (or insert worse insult name here) already took it all.
