Because two of my friends were arguing and they wanted to see who was right?

sometimes, it is. When the clothes are constricting and the poor dog cannot move normally. Also, when it HOT outside, don't put clothes on these poor little dogs.
some of the clothes are cute but people should not over do it. I treat my dogs like babies, but people need to remember, they are DOGS not people!!!!!!!!!!!
I do put sweaters on my pitbulls in the winter when I take out somewhere in my car. I don't want my poopsies to get cold.

Depends on the individual dog. One of mine just sits there and is happy with anything I do. The others would rip the articles off in a second.
As for cruelty, how can putting clothes on a dog be cruel, we put warm coats on them in winter, they are not likely to think, Hey!!that clown suit makes me look stupid, I prefer my jacket.
Being pointless, I beg to differ, I have won numerous competitions for dress ups.

No, it's just kind of stupid. Dogs are adorable without bows and dresses. It doesn't benefit the dogs at all (save for protective clothing in extreme weather), so the owners must see some way that it benefits themselves. Kind of desperate if you ask me.

In my opinion no.....but only if the dog is not uncomfortable or too hot. My chihuahua actually likes to wear clothing because it keeps her warm (the house is cold to her b/c of the air conditioning).

No, My cousin lives in an area where its very cold, so her dog always has to wear a sweater. If you leave the house though, you will find the sweater abandoned on the bed :)

No, my dog get really excited when i pull out her clothes. Just make sure that they fit properly. Make sure hat its not to hot for you pet and they should be fine. Sometimes when its cold i but on little sweaters that keep her warm.

yes most dogs just tolerate having clothes on them because ur the alpha dog in the pack but they hate it

well if the dog doesnt like getting dressed then dont dress but if the dog does then keep dressing it
