when you're not peeing or pooping, you're clenching your muscles down there. that's why babies and old people can't hold it very well - no muscle control.
when you poop, you're relaxing that muscle, when is very close to the muscle that holds in your pee. usually, when you relax one, the other relaxes too. for example, lay your palm flax on the desk, and tuck your middle finger in, under the palm. you won't be able to lift your ring finger, because those muscles overlap. same with your pee pee and poo poo muscles.

You use muscles in your big intestines and bladder to keep the crap and pee inside. When you loosen one, the other loosens. So it just comes out with it.

It depends on when the urination begins. If It begins as soon as you sit on the toilet, it's because the first thing your body does when sitting on a toilet is relax. If it begins while you're pushing, the pressure squeezes on the bladder, forcing the urine out.

There are two control centers in the spine.. not that far apart..When one is activate, it allows the sphincter muscles to relax and allows the other center to activate.
