Tylenol is not good for dogs. How much did you give it? Asprin is ok, but it depends on how big the dog is. Either half a pill or just one, depending on size and weight.

It is never smart to give your pet human medications with out checking with your vet first! I learned that first hand when I gave my 80lb severely arthritic dog 1/4 of an Alieve once a day. After 1 1/2 weeks, she ended up with with a bladder infection and her kidneys damaged. She is ok now, but I wish I would have checked with our vet before I put her through that!

Tylenol is okay for dogs. Just don't overdose...dogs and medicine are a lil more sensitive then we are with medicine. My mom gives her rat terrior 1/2 of 1 tylenol. Due to your dogs size, you can probably give the dog more. Just be careful! Good luck hun.

do not give your dog any tylenol or ibuprophen.................Tylenol should not be given to dogs. It is toxic to them. It causes Liver damage. Dogs (particularly small dogs) are also susceptible to significant tissue damage from as little as two regular strength Tylenol and repeated doses increase the risk significantly. Signs develop quickly and can include salivation, vomiting, weakness and abdominal pain.

if u gave ur dog tylenol it would be bad on its liver. if u r scared to give ur dog a tylenol then what would be better is baby asprin, u can find that at walmart, and only give him one cuz u dont want a bad reaction. trust me baby asprin is softer on dogs but works just as good

Tylenol does serious damage to dogs kidneys. If your dog is hurting one enteric coated asprin can do a great job - for more than that see the vet.

I wouldnt give him tylenol it can cause internal bleeding. I always give mine baby asprin. Start out with a half of one and see if that works. If hes a small dog then give him a quarter of one.

That's a tricky question, but I would recommend asking a veterinarian, they will answer that question for free, just look up the number in the yellow pages and give em a call. I am just a doctor for human beings I know nothing about animals.

I've heard Tylenol is dangerous. Benadryl is the only human drug I'd feel safe giving my dog.

Don't be cheap take your dog to the vet. All animals that you are responsible for should get the same care as your kids.If you can't do that then you have no right on having a livling thing to take care of.
