Girls, are weird...I'll be the first to admit and yes I'm female. We require a lot from guys...we sometimes wish they can read our minds.
You say you are nice and average - that's wonderful. My guy was nice and average. But he also had a big heart. He never tried to make moves on me...he always waited until I was ready. He always wanted to know what "I wanted to do". He went out of his way at times to just do little things.
One time he packed a lunch and we headed out to the park...just to sit and talk. For a guy to do something like that...wow that just caught me off guard. He would send me greeting cards in the mail. Cards that just read "Thinking of You".
It's the little things that girls desire. Just be creative.

Absolutely. I'm a firm believer in that because i'm also a nice guy and have made it.
It took alot of patience, understanding, and most of all, faith. Not religious faith here, but faith... believing in yourself and making the best possible choices for yourself, whenever you can.
The trick to getting what you want in a world where everyone seems to want all the same things, is to work smarter, not harder.
don't follow the crowd. Create your own. Don't let bureacy in your work life suck your blood so that when you come home from a hard day of work you have no energy to do anything else. Create your own bureacy instead.
The masses out there will shop until they are maxed out with their credit cards, mortaged out till they cannot get any more loans on their homes, and they are maxed out with car expenses,
utilities, food for the family, and all those things that we want in life. Instead of living on the edge where your boss could fire you for something stupid, be smart with your money and learn how to invest first. Then you can easily get everything without worry or stress.
You see, when it comes to people, you have to understand them first. Understanding the opposite sex means that you have to have a keen sense of what they want too. They want open communication, because it builds trust. They want genuine friendships because those will last a lifetime. They want to share their values with you too, Honesty, Trust, Respect, caring, Sharing, Appreciation, and a sense of Humor and unconditional love. They want to be respected for their sense of Trust and their sense of People, always, and it is very important for you to show them that each and every day.
When you find the right woman , and you will, you will have to understand all of the above in a big way. That will really help you alot and you will make better choices too, when it comes to the opposite sex as well.
It can be done. I've discovered it already.

Can the nice average guy get noticed?
If yes then he can get the girl.
If no then he will not get the girl.
Why would a girl want to settle for average? Try and be more than you are but stay real.

I think they can. I see lots of nice guys with nice girls. Sometimes I watch girls go through boyfriends like crazy until they grow up and realise that the bad boy image isn't all what it seems to be. (not all girls just some)
I run karaoke and see alot of this going on in the bars. Sometimes some people never grow up. Hang in there. Be yourself and your time will come.

You bet you can. Being nice and average is such a plus. It's the nice average guys that make wonderful husbands and fathers. will need a mature girl who appreciates you. Some girls (can you believe it) want someone who treats them badly. Immaturity!!!!

Sometimes when a guy is 'too nice' he basically sacrifices his feelings or worse, his girlfriend's feelings all in the name of "nice" for instance if someone were to be rude, or threatening to your girlfriend and you don't stick up for her...she'll feel like you don't care about her enough to protect her emotions. Also, if you are not physically fit, because you find no need to fight, a woman may also not feel protected physically...which is yet another hardwire program in the female psyche for thousands of years. The financial protection is equivant to the 'provision protection' meaning that if you can't hunt or kill or buy enough security, a woman will not be receptive to working herself to the knuckles giving birth and providing for herself and YOUR offspring.

maybe you are the nice, average guy but are looking for the superficial materialistic kinda girl...in that case NO will not get the girl.

Sure. If you are confident in yourself and know how to play, romanticize and make her feel wanted. Heck, if bad boys can get the girl, why can't the nice ones? LOL
