It is all fake...it's called "cold reading"
A quick google will let you in on this ancient art.
By the way, just how evil do you think conning people into thinking that you can talk their dead father/mother/sister/brother so that you will buy his book is? What this man does is reprehensible.

My friend (who has the same talent as John Edwards) and I were watching Crossing Over one evening. John Edwards was speaking to a woman about her relative. My friend was picking up additional details that John didn't mention. He couldn't understand why John would leave that part out. Later in the show, they did the up close exclusive on that same woman. The same details my friend picked up were then mentioned by John.
It was amazing to discover that information that was present during the taping was also avaialble on the recording of the show.
The only reason I believe (and understand) John Edwards talent is because of my friend. He says that they (the souls without bodies) can communicate with him and sometimes bother him becasue they want to give a message to someone. So, at times he has approached complete strangers and has said, "Excuse me, but..."
They were all thrilled to receive the message.

I've never had a reading from him, but I followed his advice on how to "do your own", and managed to make contact with my mother who had crossed over a few months previously. The results were very satisfying, and changed my life for the better in just about every way. I know a lot of people here say he's a fake, but I seriously doubt they've ever put his methods to the test for themselves.

I myself love Sylvia Brown. John Edwards was proven to be a fake and had his show cancelled.

He does what is called "cold reading"... It's a pretty easy concept if you know how to read people... he asks questiopns specifically geared for the common person to answer in a way that they give something else up about themselves unknowingly.
