Im 16 too! Im totally saying NO to sex right now. Im saving myself for marriage, as well are many of my friends. Sadly many fall to peer pressure and do lack courage.

Because every show on tv tells us teens that sex is better than no sex abc family and channels like that have shows that show people being passionate and kissing then getting their grove on
every thing in society tells us sex is not a bad thing and if we don't do it we are losers.. in the 40's and 50's they didi't have this kind of tv and you didnt see as many kids pregnant at 15 and if you did they got sent away to have the baby. now its more like if you've had a baby its a right of passage. people think having sex makes you more grown up up but thats not true doing it casualy shows how inmature and not ready you are to be having sex hope this helps you

Five thousand years ago, I think it was, the time really passes fast when you're having fun, there was a really ugly slave named Aesop. He was a social critic, but he spoke only in fables. But, these fables were often very sharp, and really upset people. And, these fables still apply in many circumstances.
He told one about the fox which accidentally lost his tail. A fox's tale is really his glory, and a fox with no tail is a really pathetic sight. So, the fox hid in shame.
After some thought, he came strutting out, very proudly showing his deformed body to the other foxes.
He told them, "Look how much better off I am with no tail. I won't get my tail stuck with seeds and burrs, and I can run right through heavy brush with no problem. The rest of you need to chop off your tails, too."
They laughed, and said, "You are just trying to make us share your misery."
This fable describes perfectly those who criticize you for not risking pregnancies and lethal diseases.

I say no to sex, and some of my friends criticize me. But that is just cuz they are too chicken to say no. It is really none of their business in my opinion. So just ignore them.

Because they want to feel better about their mistakes. They will also call you a sl ut if you do have sex. Teenagers are just mean no matter what.

I don't think that's true. You're just focusing on those few that do. The ones that do critisize those who say 'no' are probably just insecure that they themselves can't say no. There are judgementel people on both sides of that one I think
