I have a program that i dont want cluttering up my computer but i still need it. i would like to know if i can run it off of a flash drive instead of installing it on my computer

You can run it from a flash drive. but you may NOT be able to run it from the Flash drive just by copying the program's directory to the flash. You will probably have to uninstall the program, and then reinstall it choosing the custom or advanced install - so that it ask you WHERE to install the program. And then give the flash drive as the location. Then it should run

yes you can run any software of any kind of drive as long as the software is stopping you from doing it. Although It might run slower depending on your drive. Since you said flash drive, it should run pretty fast as good as your hard drive.
