I couldn't find my .qbb but I do have a recent .qbw file. Is it possible to recover my important data with the qbw file?

Yes, a hard drive can crash but the data is still there unless it got corrupted.

Try putting hard drive in freezer for a while, sometimes it will run long enuff. This is not a joke. It is off of a Mac bulletin board.

I think you're screwed. This happened to me once, but thank god the backup was only 3 weeks old. Now I always backup when prompted.

if your hard drive crashed, and you cant get it to work again, probably not. i would reccomend going to a hard drive repair shop or something, maybe they can fix it

I doubt it, though you can use norton ghost if you have that
