Cut out the fats. Your gall bladder secrets bile to help in the digestion of fatty foods. If you coinsume too much, then your gall bladder has to pump out more bile and when it does the stones become lodged in the bile ducts and causes pain in the worst case scenario. Has your doctor suggested removing the gall bladder?? With gall stones I would think so. If you have it removed, stick to the low fat diet, because then there is nothing to digest that fat and your body spits it right out if you know what I mean.

You should try to avoid things with a high fat content don't eat any fried food but to be honest people are affect by different foods. I had gallstones myself but my got so extreme I had to have my gallbladder remove so i know how you feel the spasms are agonising.

I generally found I couldn't eat curries, fried food, peppers, onions etc and ended up eating mostly steamed or boiled meals of fish and veg.

To be honest I know it isn't a nice thought as i didn't relish the thought myself but as alot of the time gallstones just get worse you would be better off having them removed (if they are causing you alot of pain). I got to the point where i didnt have a choice at least then you can eat nearly everything you want to good luck anyway.

I would suggest consulting a doctor and/or a dietitian so you can get the absolute best advice.
After all, if you have NOT consulted, then it may not be gall stones.. could be heart.
Either way, better safe than sorry

Anything low in fat, preferably fruit and veg, lean meats stay away from fried foods else you'll have an awful pain. If you have your gall bladder removed you will need to eat a low fat diet, preferably fat free, you'll have nothing to digest the fats and believe me it aint pretty.
Oh yeah, even if they are low in fat avoid creamy sauces, they are so misleading!!
