You probably do. But if you don't wake up right at the end of the dream, you won't remember it.

I asked the same question to my sister.

She's a psycologist and she explained me that everybody dreams. Not only all humans, but in fact all mammals are shown to have REM sleep, which is associated with dreams. It is a normal and necessary function of the body (though the details, especially the exact reason why it is important, are unknown).

So if you think you don't dream you probably just don't remember. (You didn't reach the level where you can remember what you've dreamed). But there are good news: Dream recall can be trained!

Here's an article about it:

You probably DO dream when you sleep. It's just that you forget them when you wake up. The dream state is what's known as REM sleep. (REM stands for Rapid Eye Movement.) This is the deepest sleep a person can be in and still be alive. Everyone, including animals, hit this phase at one particular point during the night - even if it is only for a short duration.

You do, or you would be suffering clearly visible psychiatric disorders. Try conciously thinking about remembering them before you sleep, keep a notebook by the bed to jot down any notes, and you'll start remembering more. Smoking marijuana can also affect your dream retention.

maybe you are not getting into your REM sleep, which is generally when you dream. I had the problem for years, and once i figured it out and when to the doctor and fixed it, I've started dreaming at night now.

Usually people always dream something everynight. Most likely you just forgot what you dreamed about or that you dreamed when you wake up in the morning.
