Your dog needs to be wormed. The OTC products sold do not have enough active ingredients to kill the worms completely. You need to have him wormed at the vet. We charge $6.75 to worm dogs. You should do it twice. Once to kill live adult worms and once to kill the next cycle.

Worms can be transmitted to humans and other animals by poor hygiene, such as small child touching the dog, then eating, and by other animals being in contact with the feces of the infected animal.

Drop a fecal sample off at your vets office. They will put it in solution then look at it under a microscope. They can then dispense the appropriate medication to kill the type of worm your dog has.

You need to make an appointment with your vet. You'll need a fresh pile of poop to be brought in so they can find out which type of worms your dog has. The vet will give your dog a chewable pill or a shot so that your dog can pass the worms.

** If you suspect your dog has worms, make sure you pick up every single pile of poop outside as soon as your dog goes. If you are to walk outside on your grass barefoot, it is possible to get worms yourself. (What my vet told me!) Good Luck

Sounds like a trip to the vet is in order. Some people treat with over the counter stuff like Ivermectin or strongid paste but you need to know what kind of worms you are possibly treating so I would play it safe and take it to the vet for a check up.

You*THINK*??? Why? Seen em? Then you KNOW!

Assume that ALL dogs have worms? Well, yeah.SO WORM EM!

DO NOT waste time & money on OTC CRAP!!! GO to vet & get strongid FIRST! Then in 10-14 days go BACK to vet & get panacur.
You can buy JUST the amount you need-WEIGH THE DOG!

Take a poop sample to your vet to find out for sure if your dog has worms and what kind. Different worms require different medicatons.

take it to the vet and bring a stool sample with you yes it sounds gross but this way they can test it right away and if it does have worms they give you the treatment your dog needs for it

Take your dog to a vet! Over-the-counter remedies do not work and may actually harm your dog.

You can get pills from the vet....possibly even a good pet store. They'll go away fast.

Or, you could simply eat them out of your dogs rear......but I wouldn't recommend it.
