When you are the Third, your nickname is Trey or Tripp. Can anyone verify that Skippy is the Second?

I've heard that for a 3rd, and Chip for a 2nd.

Seconds are usually called Junior.
But the real way to tell is that you have a Roman numeral after your name.
The original Rex Gooding is just that.He doesn't have a I behind his name. But his son is Rex Gooding II. His grandson is Rex Gooding III, and his great grandson is Rex Gooding IV. and so on, until someone decides there is a better name to call a kid than Rex.

If you are the first one in your family to have the name, you can just use your name, John Smith, or you can use John Smith Sr, or sometimes people legally change it to St. Then there is Jr, or the 2nd, (II) the 3rd (III), the 4th (IV) and the 5th, (V) and so on! I only know this because my boyfriends dad is Sr, my bf is Jr, and if we have a son his name wil be III.
