Rev. 3:11 You are worthy, YHWH/Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created.

i dont know what mine is yet and it makes me sad to think of all the time im wasting. you know what? i just answered a ? like this today so just a second im just going to paste my little rant...hope you dont mind!
ok! the ? i had answered before asked if i ever felt like i was just wasting my life...
and i said :
i have no purpose yet, at least not one that i know of. i may only be 16 but i could have done something helpful with the 16 years that are now gone. there are many people who have traveled and made an impact on the world and im green with envy. i havnt done anything beneficial. just been taking up room on this diminishing planet...waiting for something to happen (though i have to make it happen, what ever "it" is...) i dont know. i need a change. i want to travel and do something out of the ordinary...
so to answer your ?, i do feel like we are just wasting our lives. one day i will wake up and be 40, with a husband and 2+ kids and think "where did my life go? and why did i waste my youth?".
ok im not sure why i thought this was relevant to your question but in some way i think it does relate..oh geez im sorry. im tired and not making any sense! im going to bed, goodnight.

No one quite knows the purpose of life. Who can tell you the reason of your existance. Who can say that "God" exist and has put you on earth, with the pupose of achieving salvation. Noone alive can possibly answer that question for you. And those who can arent alive, their life has passed. Unfortunatly, we can't conversate with those that are dead and figure out whether or not the religion we choose is right or not. So we must simply wait until we die too see what our purpose is. And if it is so that there is no afterlife, this answer is in vain, and I have wasted my life living by society's morals and God's teachings.

My purpose is to raise my children the best way I can. To teach them to be independent, moral, to have respect for what's around us and to have an open-mind. Once they are raised and out of the house, lol, then I guess I'll have to pursue other purposes.

To find englightenment. To know and to worship God. Sure it may be typical, but it's also very true in my point of beliefs.
Of course you could also go by some typical beliefs (even though people don't say it), which is "to get into heaven."
