has anyone ever been misdiagnosed with a serious problem, when it was really a small problem?

Such as, has anyone ever been diagnosed with something like a blood clot in the brain, only to find that it was misdiagnosed as something minor? Also, how long was it until you found out that it was minor? How did your loved ones react to the news?
