Surely people who live there lives by the bible or the koran and other religions dont think for themselves?

People live there lives by what a book says or what a church says.If you catholic for example you cant use contraception,What if you only want 1 child.The bible and koran tell you what to do also

Cant you make your own mnds up.live how you want to live not how a book or church tells you.

Are you all weak people who need to be told what to do?

"Weak people"? As opposed to...........? Strong people? Intelligent people? Mankind has PROVEN the NEED for God's guidance. Throughout history mankind has become corrupted; killing one another for example and basically becoming degenerates. Pick up any history textbook and you will see that's true. God has sent guidance to us through His Books and those that truly follow His guidance are an example of how successful human beings CAN be. Without His guidance, we are nothing.

If that bothers you- if you hate the idea of not being able to "think for yourself"- you're just arrogant. Its only arrogance which stops you from understanding that "mankind was created weak"...and that we owe everything to God. We can't survive without him. Just look around you- we're miniscule compared to the rest of the universe. Why do some people think they're superior when we humans can't control anything? (Such as life and death, health and wealth, etc etc)

SubhanAllah! Im successful, both in my career & my personal life. Im not weak and im not stupid. But still; im more than happy to bow down to the Almighty. Im not arrogant because I know my successes and the simple fact that i exist is thanks to Him alone. Allahuakbar!

When YOU are able to create life, exist without "need" (food, water, oxygen etc) then perhaps you may come a little closer to deserving the level of arrogance you display- until then, you may continue to live your completly misguided (and probably shambolic) life until the day you come before your Creator and then realise the Books you mocked proved God's existence beyond doubt (the Quran does this) and that if you had read, understood & followed it, you would know what your Creator liked &disliked & could therefore earn His favour rather than regretting your arrogance on a Day where where there will be no shade other than the Shade of Allah's Mercy....

Have you ever READ any of these books at all? Try reading the Quran in English; it really DOES prove God's existence, and you can be assured emotionally, spiritually and scientificaly that this is the case.

The pagan/witchcraft community doesn't have that problem. We are taught to take responsibilty for our own actions. We abide by two simple laws. #1: An it harm none do what you will. #2 Love unto all things is the law. Simple, we must realize that there is Karma and it will bite us in the a&& eventually. Christianity is to wrapped up in their commandments (in actuallity there are over 635 of then in the bible, the 10 of moses were just the first ten). If they followed them by the letter then they would be in a sorry state.

I agree with you. People don't know how to live and want some one to tell them how to live. How everyone should live so the world will be a happy peaceful place. They think no one on earth knows how to live so they look to the sky and ask their imaginary friends. I'm not saying there is no higher power. I believe in the gods. But they are not going to send a book or scroll or engraved tablet to tell you that. The law of life is written all around us in life. People are to busy swallowing everything told to them they don't bother to think.

You live by the law (hopefully) does that mean you dont think for yourself. Besides atheists do that more. Some random guy says "i know how everything was created, it evolved" and you believe him. Im a Christian and have had to think more because of it. Plus whats wrong about not stealing, or murdering, or having adultery. The Bible is the greatest guideline.

If you live by a book you are still free, but if you live by what another person says you are not. The clergy of religions really are quite controlling of people's lives. However, going by the perspective that book comes from God, you simply live your life within boundaries. That doesn't mean that you can't have fun, but rather that you shouldn't do certain things. If someone tells you not to saw your hand off will you do it just to spite them?

probably despite the indisputable fact that the time line of the bible. there is books written BC and ad yet there is like a 60 365 days hollow for the time of Jesus time and on account that the tale is going the human beings who wrote the existence of Jesus did not even meet or walk with him and that hollow brings questions why did they wait see you later to start up writing about his existence. Now ask the right inquiries to any religious chief and also you aren't getting a instantly answer, they want you to bypass on faith on my own as to the validity of the thoughts. to be so there could properly be no contradictions of any style and religions and the bible are complete of them. fact is all of us comprehend who or maybe as and why human beings all started their personal faith. . absolute self assurance in any respect, the question is why do human beings keep on with them without question?

So you think Christians are weak let me tell you about myself and tell me if im weak......
im 5,6 144 pound (note not fat) i can kick over most mens heads easy i know how to use a bo staff,sword, and very good with a gun can out shoot alot of men i am going to college to be a gunsmith and the lowest grade i have gotten is a 85 (thank God) . I love my family more they life and i love my God with all my soul and i am not scared of any human i am sick of people saying that Christians are weak, all people are weak God is the only strong one!

I agree with you, but you have to understand the lure of religion. For many people, being told how to live and think is right up their alley. It absolves them of responsibility, it makes their day-to-day living quicker and easier by not having to mull over large problems, it gives them a sense that they have control over their lives since someone has laid out their path for them already (kind of a paradox, but there it is).

And when you throw in the sense of superiority that religion brings (they KNOW the truth, and those that disagree with them will end up paying for it, big time), then it's easy to see why so many people blindly follow religions. Frustrating.. but easy.

That is what the bible, Koran, and all the other so called religious books were meant to do, brainwash millions. This is not Gods word it is the word of man who has changed the word of God so he can profit, and control our lives. People are so stupid to follow the words of man, when has man ever kept his word, never what he has done is killed in the name of God, something God would never do or want done.
