I know that 130MM babies are born globally/yr. What % of these are screened at birth for genetic disorders?

Perhaps 2%.. Genetic Screening isn't done unless there is a reason to suspect something wrong. The mother is over 35, the screen for Down's Syndrome.. etc.. Babies in general aren't screened. Their general apparent health is checked, and that's about it.
