I have them and they are tough to handle. You have to do a heck of a lot of work to identify triggers and even then you can't control the entire world. A lot of times there are medical reasons so you have to see a doctor and have a workup and some very serious talks. If you want to beat this it will take dedication to say the least.

It is a bit hot for this lately where I live, but I can say on a pretty even keel if I take two cups of green tea in the mornings. No milk, ice or sugar. I have not talked to a doctor about it. Maybe it is just the ritual that psychologically calms me I don't know.

Talk to your close friends about anxiety. You may be more alike than you think. They might even recognize things that make you anxious before you do. Friends can be cool like that.

Had one shortly after college and that was enough. It was brought on by putting too much stress on myself, due to high expectations. First job, now I have a degree, first in family to go to college, being an example to siblings and relatives, BIG family investment, would I be able to handle all the stress.

Felt like I was having a heart attack, couldn't/ didn't sleep well for about 2 months, so I'm tired and dragging, got indigestion - so not eating or sleeping and trying to learn a bunch of stuff, which is difficult if you aren't well rested and nourished and so you worry some more and it's a vicious cycle until the heart palpitations and sharp pains in your chest and sweating and light-headedness kicks in.

Went to a nice older doctor (after Dad cancelled the ambulance I called) who checked me over and figured it out RIGHT away! I still am very grateful to him. Told me to take it easy on myself because all the stress was internal, no one was expecting nearly as much from me as I was.

Took up meditation and it helped a lot.

Since then I monitor myself when I find myself with sleep problems, and try to take internal pulse to see what's really TRUE. Also, remove a lot of excess stress, bills, people, etc from my life.

Yes, I don't know how I handle them. I just get through them by going on walks or if I can focus I read for a while. If I'm at work I become agitated easily and its hard for me to be mellow if a coworker is getting an attitude so I try to just avoid people for a while. I don't have health insurance, I'ts time I was treated for my condion bcause I know for a fact its not normal the moods I get in every now and then and this has been going on for years now.

Yes I get many, sometimes I handle them by telling my self over & over again that this is only in my mind and sometimes it works, but sometimes it does not and end up very irritated and feel very sad & stressed out.....but we all should remember that Anxiety is only in our minds and always try to focus on some thing else like taking a shower, cleaning your room ....Good luck for all Anxiety sufferers
