I am not a health care professional but I think you just need someone to talk to about your issues. Everyone needs a friend that they can reveal themselves to and know that they will accept them just the way they are. Do you have a trusted friend that you can discuss things with? Also, a change in diet may help you a great deal. Perhaps you react badly to too much sugar? A really great diet that is healthy is called "The Zone Diet". You can find it online at amazon or it might even be in a second hand bookstore. It addresses many health concerns and perhaps can be very beneficial for your challenges. Don't give up on yourself and don't let people label you. You may even have a vitamin deficiency that masquerades as mental problems. You could try a very good quality B-100 vitamin and you may need some magnesium. Also, calcium is very calming. Try this website: www.naturemade.com

I am bipolar too and I have the same exact issues you do. I believe I am bipolar but I am also educated in my diagnosis. Educate yourself about the condition and doctors know more than us even if we dont see it right away. they go through years of schooling to be able to diagnose people. Try wedmd site on the web. It sounds like behavioral problems as well...like I said I have the exact same issues!! Rational Emotive Behavior therapy is great for people like me and you talk to your therapist or psyc if you dont have a therapist and I would urge you to get one. Suicide is a very serious issue and is never taken lightly by any doc. Most "NORMAL" people dont have these issues.

Suicidal thoughts or actions along with your volatile anger can be seen as bipolar. There are MANY symptoms of Bipolar .go to Bipolar on your browser and it will take you to a site that is very helpful.
You may not have Bipolar at all.You may have an anger control problem and there is medications and help for this disease also. And yes-anger control problems are a disease.
You may have Major Depresssion by the sounds of it.Go to a psychiatrist,I did,and I feel alot better.Seeing a psychiatrist is better then suicide.

Hi. I was diagnosed as bipolar and did not agree with it either. I was finally diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder which is often confused with bipolar. BPD is also called "emotionally unstable personality disorder" basically we just have problems controlling our emotions which sounds like what you are describing. There are many resources online to check this out.
www.bpdcentral.com www.bpdsanctuary.com or just google borderline personality disorder. There is a great book called "I Hate You, Don't Leave Me." Research the criteria and symptons I think you fit the mold! It's a hard life but it helps to know what you are dealing with.

You just described me and I've been diagnosed by several doctors as being bipolar also. The last one told me that I had rapid cycling bipolar disorder. Which is different from the normal disorder in that your lows and highs are not as extreme and do not last as long. Here are some websites with some helpfull info.

sounds like bipolar to me. It's usually associated with violent outbursts (throwing things, etc.) and self destructive tendencies (suicide) especially when the swings are extreme like that. They don't need to be one day up the next day down. People can go months in a manic period and then something sets them off and they are in a depressed period.

You might have Borderline Personality Disorder instead of Bi-Polar Disorder. Borderlines often get a wrong diagnosis of Bi-Polar Disorder at first. Mention your anger and emotional moods swings to your doctor and ask for information about Borderline Personality Disorder.

Your right, what is like 15 years of secondary Education compared to someone out of High School, STUPID DOCTORS! I personally feel you're most like Borderline Personality Disorder, which trust me is nowhere near as nice as Bi-polar. If I were you, I'd listen to my freaking doctors who "know" what their talking about and TAKE YOU'RE FREAKING MEDICATION, YOU COW! How do you expect to get better when you ignore the help you seek out? What? You haven't found a doctor who tells you what you want to hear?
Then DON'T see a doctor, see a psychiatrist!

I think you should trust what doctors say. They are the ones who really know. If these 2 diagnosis are not satisfactory to you, search more medical advice. People may say many things but if they are not trained, and what`s more important, they don`t know you, their opinions are of relative help.
