Just arrived back from Turkey on monday, great place to go. You have to pay £10 for your visa when you arrive in Turkey, this is a little sticker they put in your passport. When you leave, the sticker will be stamped at passport control. Only give a £10 note when you pay, they will not give change from a £20 note or bigger. Have a great holiday, where about are you going to?

I vaguely remember having to pay the Turkish customs with a £10 note, when I went several years ago. However, it might have changed by now.
I couldn't find anything about this on a Yahoo search, but you should check with the airline or travel agents you are travelling with - they should be able to give you the details.

Hope this helps:>)

Some places do charge airport tax - if it's only £10 you're doing well, some places are more than £30.

Yeah it's true. At least it was a couple of years ago when I went. You might want to check at your local booking place or airport if you're thinking of travelling there, just to make sure.

its not a levy, you have to pay 10 quid for a visa (make sure you get a receipt as they are notorious for pocketing the money so you pay twice!)
