The fairs is coming to my town next week so I'm excited to eat all my favorites.......bloomin' onions, gyros, funnel cakes and all the rest! Whats your favorite?

Anything and everything that I can't get anywhere else except a fair or a carnival.
I never get the hamburgers or hot dogs, but I load up on the fried Twinkies and fried oreos. The grilled sausage with peppers and onions. I love it all.
I never ride the rides because something about a ride being put together in a few hours by someone who looks like the carnies do, and then them cranking it up to 35 mph scares me.
But I do love the food.

The Maryland state fair will be starting in a few weeks as well. Yum....* Funnel Cake * Crab Cakes * Pit beef *

I avoid the typical professional carni vendors. I can get a burger or corndog any ol' time. At our fair, I go for the linguica (traditional Portugues sausage) sandwiches with mustard, then sheeshkabob sandwich done by the Assyrian club, old style Taco Truck tacos from the local restaurant owner, then pie (lemon or chocolate cream) from a booth run by a bakery in town.
Yum. I just went last night.

Yeah, I have been to the MD fair when I lived there. Loved the corndog!! Funnel cake too!!
