The USA could significantly reduce illegal inmigration from Mexico by helping Mexico develop an economy in which there is less incentives for people to go to the USA.
Canada is exactly in that situation and is also the only other country with a border with the US. Few canadians are interested in being illegal here because there is no economic incentive to do it.
USA could also reduce the illegal inmigration by offering their own citizens an economic incentive to do the jobs inmigrants are willing to do. In other words, stop the economic exploitation of mexican nationals.
The solutions do exist, but is this country truly interested in stopping illegal inmigration?
Or is simply a way to have a scapegoat? I wonder...

Even though all Illegal are not Mexican a large portion of them are so the ultimate way would be for Mexico to turn their countries economy around so people would not have to leave. We could then have a much smaller population of Illegals to deal with. We need to step up security and larger fines for illegals and those who hire, rent, sell to.

O.k, here's what we need to do.
1. Hirea ton of people to build a HUGE concrete wall between u.s.a and Mexico.
2. Have a watch tower every 1 mile.
3. Hire police to make sure nobody gets over the wall, or destroy the wall.

The best way to end with it is to make it legal, we all know that will be very difficult, but some countries are working on it. The real problem, I think, is that all countries, in one way or another, proffit from ilegal inmigration, and that is why they don´t find real solutions for real problems.

There wouldn't be any way to completely stop illegal immigration no matter what we do.If they want to get in this country badly enough nothing will stop them.

make legal immigration easier... If we kick them out our economy will be severely damaged, if we legalize them maybe they'll pay taxes and take the some of the brunt off of the middle class. besides, they were here first.
