You are a controling f*cktard is what she is thinking.
You care for her, you warn her but she is taking that as a message that she isn't allowed to think that very same thing... she needs your permission to think like that and it bugs her.
The best thing to do is let them go, say nothing, let the experiences happen, let them learn and make mistakes... it is all in the way of how you are raising the point...
try, may I make a suggestion that you have your cell phone, check your oil and make sure your doors are locked... etc.
most women are not idiots. (well... most) so they take your advice as an insult.. just shut up, nod your head and smile. Rarely does anything go drasticly wrong and do you think your last statement of, "be safe" is going to change anything that would have happened?
Remember Romeo, they don't think like you and me.... let them run up on the pile of rocks... it's how they learn and live their lives, it our jobs too pull them off and fix the holes...
