I tried everything with my son. From letting him sleep with us to the 'ferber' method. The only thing that worked for him(read: for him.. other kids will do differently) is letting him cry it out.. letting him know that bed time was bedtime and he had to stay in his room the whole night till I came and got him inthe morning. Now he he sleeps great (he is 3) usually 12 hours a night.

If you breastfeed, it's time to stop doing any feeding times during the night.

You could also make sure he gets plenty of stimulation including fresh air during the day and good healthy food.

A nice, quiet regular bedtime routine helps too. No tickle fests or scary books. Best wishes!
