just be yourself and maybe sit next to someone in class that you look like you would get along with, and maybe someone who is not talking to anyone else. Evetully maybe say hi to them, so at least you will have somone to sit with at lunch lol.

Once you leave Middle School and go to High School it's going to be a major shock. I thought Middle school was so grown up but High School is like a whole new planet. There are going to be 2-3 grades of students above you that think they're adults. I think the best way to prepare is just by hopefully having a lot of people you know before you go there. Tell your friends to meet up with you at different times of the day so that you can experience it together instead of alone. If you have a group of people around you no one will really notice you're a freshman. As for trends and all that, in high school anything goes. Don't be presuaded into thinking you have to have the latest fad. There are so many different styles in high school that everything is cool. Also, try not to do stupid things to fit in like smoking and drugs. Go towards sports, cheerleading, and clubs. You'll meet a lot of new people which will help you get used to high school and their healthy for you. I hope you have fun. :-) Good Luck!

u may consider going through the school days before to locate classes and bathrooms and labs. usually schools are open cuz teachers r getting ready. you may even meet some of your teachers. as a freshman I would consider going with a parent or trusted adult because they may ask questions you had not thought about. Also have as many basic supplies as possible (paper pens calculator etc) If there is a web site for the school check it out to get a better feel of the layout. are there other people inthe neighborhood you could talk to even if they are graduates. good luck

If there is a freshman orientation, I would go to it. It is an excellent way to know where your classes are.
Above all else, walk with confidence! If you appear confident in where you are going - you won't run into any potential problems with upperclassmen. (I don't want to scare you when I say that. It really depends on where you live.)
Have fun! You are going to meet a lot of great people! Maybe you'll make new friends or find the love of your life!
Good luck in high school!

Relax and be yourself. Its really not as bad for freshman as you always hear or see on tv and movies. I remember my first day I was scared to death but then realized that there had really been nothing to worry about. High School is the best time of your life so just sit back and enjoy it :)

If you're not familiar with your school get a map and learn it. That way you don't look dumb on your first day. Enjoy high school I wish I was back there.

Don't be an idiot acting like you're the best person there.
Last year this kid showed up, "Yeah I'm awesome I'm gonna kick everyone's azz if they try and **** with me."
Needless to say, he got shut down and was shown his place.
But as long as you don't act like a d**k then there really isn't anything to worry about.

try everything you can
and don't you worry what they tell themselves
when your away"
"live right now
and just be yourself
it doesn't matter if it's good enough
for someone else"
"it just takes some time little girl
you're in the middle of the ride
and everything everything will be just fine
everything everything will be alright"
