I was thinking of doing this for lunch, get 2 double cheeseburger withouth the buns only meat and cheese from McDonald every other day like on Mon. Wed. and Fri. with water or tea. And on Tues. and Thurs. eat a salad for lunch with a strawberry shake from McDonald. Is this a healthy lunch? I am trying to lose weight but not starve myself. I would eat a regular dinner. I really don't eat breakfast, if I do it is something little like a yogurt or just plain cerial to much on. Would any health experts recommend this? If not, what are some other healthly food that don't take to long, that are fullfilling for lunch?

That sounds terrible. I wouldn't touch McDonald's with a bargepole. Try something healthier. Here's an idea for a day's food that should help.

Breakfast:

Cereal and milk with some fruit, an apple or banana or toast and butter. Drink water, fruit juice or tea.

Lunch (Mid-day meal): Pasta salad or baked potato with tuna or cheese. Piece of fruit, apple, orange or banana. Drink Water or fruit juice.

Dinner (Evening)

Balanced meal of Soup and meat and vegetables, (potatoes, peas, carrots etc|) or salad. Avoid fried food,. Vegetables fresh not tinned. Desert, fruit or small piece of cake.

During day you can eat yogurt or fruit at any time. As much fruit and boiled or steamed vegetables as you like.

It is better to eat five small meals than three big ones. Avoid large breakfasts such as eggs, bacon, sausages, beans etc. Supper, if you have one should be light. Lots of water based drinks in day, or plain milk, not too much coffee. Take regular exercise at least three times a week take vigorous exercise for twenty minutes, enough to make you sweat.

It's a horrible heart attack waiting to happen lunch. Make a sandwich on whole wheat bread for lunch and have a piece of fruit.
Breakfast is very important. You like strawberry shakes so make a strawberry smoothie with fat free strawberry yogurt, a little milk and some ice in a blender.

What a regular dinner? Dinner should be a small meal.

If you MUST eat at McD's, it sounds okay but lose the shake (loads of sugar, no nutrition). No ketchup on the burgers.

Really, their food is not the best nutrition, but that would do in a pinch.

Why not make your own hamburgers and salad at home? Can you nuke the burgers somewhere at lunchtime?

For breakfast, instead of cereal or yogurt try a couple of eggs.

Better yet, learn to cook real food. It tastes better and is healthier. And really, it's not that hard once you get the hang of it.

I would choose Subway w/bread or half the bread over McDonald's anyday. Just watch the movie "Supersize Me" & you'll see why. The stuff shown in that movie I'm sure isn't just in their bread.
