I hate to bash on my own sex...but if a guy is communicating with you, he is hitting on you.
Basic thought, if you respond and any signals indicate that something might possibly happen, then the most innocent of conversations will trigger the male thingy...
Best bet, is to know and understand your own boundaries...learn to enforce them and then go out and have fun with people.
By the way...you may not know it, but I am willing to bet that some of your "Girlfriends" have also hit on you without you knowing it...

there not flurting there just horny and there looking at you like your a peace of meat . all guy's are dogs and dogs have fleas,so when your around them wear a flea collar!!!!!!!

its how they look at you, i can't explain it. I can usually tell right away if a guy is interested by how he acts around me-even if he says nothing. its very easy.. its all in the body language.. sometimes guys are so scared to even say anything so they just stare.. or do the obvious glances
