You will have to pay for a rush on the passport. You can get it in two weeks if you pay for it. The Visa, I doubt you will get it before you have to leave on the 20th. Why the hell did you wait until now to get your passport if you made reservations so soon? Even if you went to the passport bureau today, its not guarenteed youd have it in hand by the 20th. AND changing an international flight is going to be expensive. ITs a minimum of a $200 change fee, plus or minus the difference of the fares. As a former ticket agent, I can tell you good luck, you will need the grace of God to get it all in order by your departure time. But truth be told, you can expect to be changing the date, and "I didnt get my passport in time" is not an excuse and will not be a way around paying the change fees.

Chances are remote! What you could you is contact the passport authorities and explain the urgency for your travel. If they find the reason good enough, you may be able to travel as scheduled. The same applies with the consulate... Keep your documents for the visa in order so you can immediately submit them after the passport is issued. IT IS NOT ADVISABLE TO BOOK YOUR TICKET WITHOUT VALID TRAVEL DOCUMENTS as ticket cancellation charges are quite high these days….

There should be an immigration building in your area.Go there. My husband had the same problem and when he went they sent him to a place where he paid like $60 and got his passport the same day.Try that.Hope it helps.

in canada, you can get your passport in about 10 business days.

both my mom and sister went last week to get theirs done, and we're going to panama on the 13th. my mom recieved her passport, my sister is waiting onhers. it probably came today.

i know mine took only a couple days to process.

if you need it, you better go now or else it might be too late

Use an overnight broker. They charge about $150 for each service but you procrastinated.
