Can't scientist be creating there own agenda with the facts of history?
Why does that not seem possible after all for years they said smoking wasn't addictive or bad for you now we know it is. And those that were telling us it was ok was from scientist granted the tobacco industry had final say on what got out to us. We have scientist telling us all the time something is correct or good for us and we latter find out it's wrong or dangerous.scientist need money to work a large part of money comes from the government or private investors that need help from the government one way or the other. for all we know government made a deal with scientist yrs ago to get rid of God because people without faith or belief tend to be easier to control from a governments standpoint.

this is just a theory you got your theory (evolution) i got mine.

Great theory. Next time you have a thought, let it go.

"for years they said smoking wasn't addictive or bad for you"

"they" were the ones selling you cigarettes. luckily more scientists looked into and figured it out.

If you want to control people, install a religious government. Then you can just kill the "heretics"

That makes no sense... It's much easier for you to be controlled with religion, it's been made painfully obvious by our current regime.

Secondly, the agenda of serious scientists is only to find the facts as to why the world works the way it does and to use those facts to improve our lives. Your conspiracy theory makes you appear to be a nut job.

I don't believe any scientist said smoking wasn't addictive. They may not have known it was addictive until studies had shown that it was... that's far different than someone outright telling you something isn't something... if anyone said that it was the tobacco industry.

Lastly, you seem to be confusing 2 wholely different definitions of the word "theory" in your closing. Evolution is a scientific theory, meaning that it is no longer a hypothesis (an educated guess) because it has a body of evidence to support it.

Read some books please, non fiction.

There are a couple of points in your question that aren't true.
Who are the scientists who ever said that smoking was not addictive or bad for you ? Give us the names.
The next sentence - - -And those that were telling us it was ok was from scientist granted the tobacco industry had final say on what got out to us. I have to say that I have no idea of what that means, so I won't comment.
Nope ! I'm going to give up. It gets worse as it goes. No comment on the rest.

It's exactly the same with what is in the Bible. The 'religious' in power dictate what message gets out to the people, what 'facts' the religious followers are told, how the Bible is interpreted. The biggest example of this is when a bunch of men decided which books would be in the Bible. The Bible, however, has no empirical evidence to back it up. Scientific finding can be replicated by anyone with the means.

Please, PLEASE, learn what a theory is. Gravity is "just a theory", too. You don't have to believe in evolution, but you do have to understand what it means to science and nature.

"In science, a theory is a proposed description, explanation, or model of the manner of interaction of a set of natural phenomena, capable of predicting future occurrences or observations of the same kind, and capable of being tested through experiment or otherwise falsified through empirical observation. It follows from this that for scientists "theory" and "fact" do not necessarily stand in opposition." 2nd paragraph

the thing is, scientists who are sponsored by a certain company might fabricate results. which is why we have peer reviewed journals, meaning that unless a study stands up to the scrutiny of a bunch of science geeks, it doesn't get published.
that's the fact of the matter. these are independent journals who get their money through subscription and through the government, but the government has absolutely no say in what is in or out.
there are of course problems, the system is not perfect, nor will it ever be perfect, but its a good system. science is about improving what was thought years ago, a week ago, or yesterday. there are problems, and we're still figuring a bunch of sh!t out. no scientist will tell you that science is a definitive truth, but only the search for truth. if we find it, good for us, right?

Conspiracy theories about scientists getting rid of God? As if any person could get rid of God. That makes God sound weak compared to people. What a silly idea.

If you fear science is against God, I suggest you listen to this extremely good online radio program where the director of the Vatican observatory speaks about this subject. You may want to skip ahead about 19 minutes from the start if you are not interested in the astronomy stuff, but it is all interesting, IMO.

Check into what it takes for any theory to be accepted as proof in the scientific community.

It's not one room of scientists, or one university, or one country. It's thousands who scrutinize and argue pros's and cons of the subject. Sometimes is may take years or decades to come to a decision.

*THE*ABSOLUTE*EASIEST* way to control people is to use their religion as leverage. Stupid religious fanatics are very predictable, very controllable, and willing to do just about anything, with the right convincing.

Examples of religious fanatics are of course, the so called muslim terrorists, who believe that by blowing themselves up taking a busload of people with them, they will wake up in heaven.

To this day, entire countries are being controlled, at this very moment, by controlling these mindless fanatics.

No, my friend, the government doesn't want you forget God. Whenever a goverment wants everybody to believe something stupid, they bring God into the equation, and the mindless sheep believe.

interesting thought though. Anything is possible, there is a website, answers in genesis. org I think, it may be.com, but they have better "proof" than many scientists that God did create the world in 6 days, just like He said.

Think about it. our constitution tells that we have "unalienable rights", given by our "creator" not by the government or a judge or the law. Its something to think about.
